Digital Radiology Efficiencies Drive Pro Medicus Client Expansion

Lake Imaging, the first client to adopt the Pro Medicus Limited (ASX:PME) integrated digital radiology solution, has continued its rapid growth by opening a new fully digital radiology practice in Geelong, expanding its network to five practices.

Lake was the first private radiology provider in Australia to transition from film-based technology to a fully digital environment, when it converted its two Ballarat practices in late 2002. Having realised efficiency savings of more than 30% with the Ballarat conversions, Lake also converted practices at Melton and Baccus Marsh in Melbourne’s western growth corridor early this year.
